Emre Can has done little to silence doubts over his Liverpool future.
The midfielder will come to the end of his current contract next summer and at the moment, the Germany international is yet to pen a new one.
Juventus were linked with a swoop for the 23-year-old in the summer, but a transfer never came to fruition.
A recent report by Tuttosport, though, claims that Can has already agreed to move to Turin ahead of a free transfer in the summer.
The midfielder has now had his say on the rumours, but his response when the Liverpool Echo asked if he will be a Liverpool player next season was met with an air of frustration.
“Why do you ask me this? Really, I concentrate on this season and let my agent handle all the rest. It is not about money, that’s all I can say. Yes I could (sign a pre-contract with another club next month), but tomorrow I could also sign for Liverpool. We’ll see.”
Can moved to Anfield from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014 for a fee believed to be in the region of £10m.
During his time at the Merseyside outfit, he has put in positive displays, but inconsistency has been an issue.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has handed the midfielder 13 starts in all competitions this season, nine of which have been in the Premier League.
